Welcome to Blessed Messy Momma

I began my journey in nursing school with the hope of one day becoming a midwife. Life unfolded in beautiful and unexpected ways—I got married and became a mother to three wonderful boys. While raising my family, I continued working as a nurse, still carrying a quiet dream of someday finding my place in the birth world.

Over the years, something became increasingly clear to me. I saw how often new mothers were under-supported and under-valued during one of the most tender and transformative seasons of their lives. Our culture often expects women to do too much, too soon, and too alone. Yet we were never meant to recover, heal, and learn motherhood without community. Support in the first weeks after birth is not a luxury—it is vital.

As this awareness grew, my dream began to take a clearer shape. I remain deeply passionate about birth and informed choice for all women, but my heart was especially drawn to the quiet, sacred postpartum period. I felt called to do something meaningful for mothers who were navigating those early days without enough support.

This calling has led me to pursue doula training and partner with a local doula to bring my vision to life. From that place, my postpartum doula support service was born—rooted in compassion, presence, and the belief that mothers deserve to be cared for just as deeply as they care for their babies.

My Story
My Approach

My approach to postpartum care is rooted in calm presence, compassion, and deep respect for mothers. I believe the postpartum period is a sacred time—one that deserves to be slowed down, protected, and supported with intention. Every woman’s experience is unique, and I strive to meet each mother exactly where she is, without judgment or expectation.

I offer support that is practical, nurturing, and grounded in evidence-based care, while always honoring a mother’s intuition and informed choices. Whether that looks like hands-on help, emotional reassurance, or simply holding space, my goal is to help mothers feel seen, valued, and cared for as they transition into this new season.

At the heart of my work is the belief that when mothers are supported, families thrive. I am honored to walk alongside women in those early weeks, offering steady support so they can rest, recover, and step into motherhood with confidence and care.

Why Blessed Messy Momma

The early days of motherhood are often both beautiful and overwhelming. There is so much joy, love, and gratitude—and also exhaustion, uncertainty, and messiness. I chose the name Blessed Messy Momma because I believe these things can co-exist.

Motherhood does not have to look perfect to be meaningful. In fact, some of the most sacred moments are found right in the middle of the mess. New mothers are doing holy, important work, even when the house is untidy, emotions feel big, and days blur together.

At the heart of Blessed Messy Momma is the belief that some of the best things in life are messy. Motherhood is not meant to be tidy or picture-perfect—it is meant to be lived, felt, and remembered. The late nights, the tears, the learning curves, and the quiet victories all weave together into something deeply meaningful.

My hope is to walk alongside mothers during this tender season, helping them slow down and recognize the beauty in these moments, even when they feel overwhelming. Through compassionate, steady support, I aim to help turn messy moments into meaningful memories—ones that can be held with softness, strength, and grace.
